GARLIC ASKS ABOUT THE BUSH VOTERS' RECALL
This week, millions of voters recalled their votes from the George W. Bush presidential campaign because of too many blow-outs on the campaign trail--a public vulgarity, confused math on taxes, personal attack ads, bushisms, and a debate about debates. While Bush has promised to reinvent himself, most of the post-Labor Day polling data looks ominous. What do you think?
"As Governor Bush has said, politicians tend to 'vulcanize' society. He simply needs to get those voters together and put a bigger patch on his blowouts."Robert Donleavy, Caterer
"This should be a boon to Fox's "America's Deadliest Political Crashes." I'm sick of seeing Dukakis in that tank."
Darleen Liteup, Nurse
"I bet those "New Republic" guys are really creaming their jeans over this one."
Clark Benson, Carpenter
"Although I admit this is a setback for Mr. Bush, I'm sure he'll regain the trust of the American people with an excellent exit interview."Jenny Terry, Consultant
"The problem began when Bush failed to condemn General Mashimkov's brutal occupation of the city of Plovsk in the Chechen province of Azgakasban. Okay, I made that up."
Dan Telldock, Student
"Excuse me, but Al Gore 'reinvents' himself. Bush will 'retool' his campaign ."
